Stephen, a Waltham, MA native, began working at Dunn & Phillips in May of 2010. Stephen is a paralegal with several years of experience in auto accident and other personal injury matters, as well as divorce and other probate and family court matters, landlord-tenant disputes, home improvement contract disputes and other consumer protection disputes, and collection matters. Stephen earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, 2010, from Westfield State University, where he also earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, 2012. Stephen and his family reside in Westfield, Massachusetts, minutes from Dunn & Phillips’ Westfield office located at 59 Arnold Street, Westfield, Massachusetts.

Amy Mottor

Attorney Mottor began working at Dunn & Phillips in 2014. She specializes in employment matters, wage and hour claims, disability claims, workers compensation, and personal injury cases. While in law school, Attorney Mottor’s achievements include being a recipient of the Outstanding Law Student Award from the National Association of Women Lawyers, as well as being a recipient of the Angela Dales Spirit of ASL Memorial Award. She also served as the Editor-In-Chief of the Appalachian Journal of Law, in which her own article, “Morales and Taylor: The Future of the Lethal Injection” was published [6 Appalachian J.L. 287 (2007)]. In 2008, she passed the Virginia Bar Exam, later passing the Massachusetts Bar Exam in 2010. Attorney Amy Mottor is driven by her compassionate and hardworking nature, as well as her strong desire to help clients achieve their desired goals.

John Auchter

John Auchter, a Western Massachusetts native, has worked with Dunn & Phillips’ Springfield office since November 2005. He primarily works with estate planning, estate administration, real estate, domestic relations and family law matters. John attended the University of Connecticut at Storrs and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Val joined Dunn & Phillips, P.C. in August 1999 and has worked in a capacity of a paralegal for more than 19 years now. Val’s experience includes work primarily in the areas of personal injury and civil litigation. Val is a graduate of Westfield State University where she received her Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude. She is originally from Ukraine. In addition to being fluent in her native Ukrainian, Val also speaks Russian. In her spare time, Val enjoys spending quality time and traveling with her family, reading, and gardening.

Nathaniel Gonzalez

Nathaniel “Nate” Gonzalez joined the Dunn & Phillips team in 2017. He is a Springfield native who graduated from the Springfield Renaissance School and later pursued a bachelor’s degree in finance from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. He is a Junior Paralegal and assists the Dunn and Phillips team with personal injury claims, wrongful death claims, landlord and tenant disputes, divorce, collection matters, and other legal transactions. Outside of work, Nate loves traveling and is a huge fan of college football and European soccer.
Nicole joined Dunn & Phillips, P.C. in July 2017. A Western Massachusetts native, Nicole works primarily in personal injury and workers compensation matters. Nicole works out of our Amherst office, where she brings her upbeat attitude and strong work ethic. She is currently an undergraduate student at UMASS Amherst.
